A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Nice to meet you, I’m Dani!‍ ‍

I’ve always been drawn to understanding people beyond what’s on the surface. I’m deeply interested about the experiences, relationships, and stories that shape us into who we are.

I became fascinated by attachment theory and the idea that so much of what we learn about love, connection, conflict, and safety comes from the people and relationships around us. I started noticing these connections even more as I compared differences between U.S. and Mexican cultures, particularly in how marriage and parenting are approached. It made me curious about the ways we unconsciously carry what we were taught into our own relationships, and whether we can learn new ways of relating.

That interest became the foundation for the work I do today. I’m passionate about helping individuals understand and work through the experiences that shaped them, while helping couples create something different from the relationship patterns they may have learned growing up. My hope is that, through this work, both individuals and couples can experience greater safety, connection, and fulfillment in their lives and relationships.

When I am Outside of the Therapy Room

These are some of the things that bring me joy!

Crafting and Baking

A way for me to tap into my creativity and be present. Right now, that means fuse beads and baking quick breads!

Romantasy books, cozy videogames, and 2000’s comfort TV

My favorite way to escape reality for a little while and get lost in another world. Currently reading Quicksilver, watching Gilmore Girls, and occasionally playing Stardew Valley.
